Workshops and Classes
Caris is an experienced and highly adaptable workshop leader with over 30 years' experience in participatory arts and creative education.
After graduating in Fine Art in 1995, she began working in participatory arts through a 12-month residency, followed by an Artist-in-Schools commission touring over 20 schools across Shropshire, delivering creative sessions for both pupils and teachers.
Following completion of post-16 teacher training in 2000, Caris went on to teach Art & Design at Cardiff University, Parc Prison, and Telford College of Art & Technology, alongside leading numerous community, education, and arts-for-health projects. Her work spans adults and young people, including SEN, alternative education provision, and therapeutic settings.
Caris offers inclusive, bespoke creative workshops, tailored to your needs and context. Workshops can be delivered worldwide and range from 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, 1 year or longer.

Club Collage
When: Third Thursday of every month

Club Collage is an inclusive, welcoming community where people can come together to enjoy the creative, playful and accessible art form of collage.
Led by collage artist Caris Jackson, an experienced tutor and resident artist at English Bridge Studios, Club Collage offers a relaxed and inspiring space to make art, exchange ideas, learn new techniques, share materials and create awesome collage work.
Each session is based around a creative prompt, theme or challenge. A wide range of collage materials is provided, and the theme is shared in advance so you're welcome to bring along your own materials if you wish. Members are also free to work on personal projects outside of the theme during sessions.
Club Collage also offers opportunities to:

- Visit events and exhibitions of interest
- Join guest workshops and talks
